| Norit carbons are used
for the purification of fruit juices such as apple juice,
orange juice and grape juice. The main task for the
activated carbon is to remove pink and brown coloured
polyphenols and dark brown coloured melanoidins. Dedicated
carbons can also be used to remove undesirable taste
compounds, colour precursors created during fruit juices
processing, traces of pesticides and fungicide residues
such as mycotoxin Patulin.
